...The Tigers announced that they will be starting a free e-zine called Tigers Dream Link (タイガースDream Link).  The e-zine will begin with it's first mailing on the 5th.

...Atsushi Noumi throws two kinds of change-ups: from from side (slower) and one from the top (faster).  On Sunday, Kenji Johjima worked with Noumi on figuring out how best to use the two pitches during a 39-pitch bullpen session.

...The solar panel installations at Koshien Stadium were completed and turned on on Monday.  About 1,600 panels will generate about 19,300 kilowatts of energy every year, enough to power 50 homes for 1 year.

Total construction costs came in at about 150M yen.

...The official website for the Museum of Hanshin Koshien Stadium opened on February 1st.

...Casey Fossum will likely be pitching on 3/3 against the Nippon Ham Fighters and Atsushi Noumi on 3/4, also against the Nippon Ham Fighters.  Kenji Johjima caught both of their bullpen sessions on Sunday (Fossum threw 49 pitches).

...Akinobu Mayumi held a meeting after the Tigers' lineup, comprised of younger players, was held to just 3 hits on Sunday.

...The first three pitchers in the starting rotation will likely be Yuya Ando, Atsushi Noumi, and Yasutomo Kubo.  After that, the Tigers have their pick of Tsuyoshi Shimoyanagi, Shinobu Fukuhara, Casey Fossum, and Kazuhito FutagamiMinoru Iwata will also be an option once he returns.  Tatsuya Kojima is also making a case for himself.
