...Ryo Hijirisawa ended exhibition play 10-for-22.  Marty Brown told reporters there's a good chance he could be batting lead-off on opening day.

...Wataru Karashima appeared in 4 of the teams 9 exhibition games and gave up 2 runs in 5 innings of work.

It will be great to have a chance to work with him while on the same team.  I wanted to meet him during Spring camp, but he never came so I figured he was just writing another book.
