...Hideaki Wakui apparently isn't too concerned of how cold it might be when he pitches on Saturday in Sendai.  Hisanobu Watanabe took things further and said that he hoped it would get even colder because then it might become cause for concern for Hisashi Iwakuma and his right elbow.

...Kimiyasu Kudo likely won't make a return to Ichi-gun until May.  It doesn't seem like he's in any pain, but it does appear as though Kudo wants to take about a month to prepare himself.  Kudo will likely pitch in about 5 Ni-gun games in total before making his way to Ichi-gun.

...Yusei Kikuchi tossed 110 pitches in the bullpen on Thursday.  And according to the article, it seems his pitches are becoming more lively.

...The Lions posted a list of days where amateur players can receive instruction from their Ni-gun coaches and staff members.  Each practice is limited to 50 spots and there is a cost of 2,000 yen for two practice sessions.

...The Lions announced the addition of two new New Era caps to their product lineup.
