...The Hawks have opened up a special Twitter section at there site.  From there, fans can look at tweets from players, staff members, and other fans (#sbh2010).  It seems they also tested the display of Twitter messages on the Yahoo Dome scoreboard during practice on Thursday.  And it seems it went live on Friday (messages were apparently show before the game and are also being shown in between innings).

There's also a short list of Twitter accounts for Hawks players at the official team site.

...Nobuhiko Matsunaka was promoted to Ichi-gun prior to Friday's game.  He is in the opening day starting line-up (DH batting 5th) and has gone 0-for-2 so far in the game (as of this posting).

Incidentally, Bum-Ho Lee is riding the bench since Matsunaka started at DH.

...The Hawks have uploaded some footage of Tsuyoshi Wada and Nobuhiko Matsunaka working out during pre-game practice.

...Hawks player posters will begin showing up at various bus stop locations throughout Fukuoka City between 3/29 - 4/11.  Fans that take the time to read in the QR codes with their mobile phones will also be treated to a free Hawks' wallpaper featuring Hiroki Kokubo and Munenori Kawasaki.

...The Hawks will be giving away a set of 10 autographed images to 10 lucky fans.  The only thing you have to do in order to qualify is answer a quick survey between 3/26 - 4/4.

...Together with Asahi Beer, the Hawks are running a giveaway for fans that make purchases of Asahi beverages over 600 yen.  There are three tiers of prizes, all of which include free tickets to Hawks' games.

...Tickets to games in May will go on sale on 3/28.
