...From Sunday's game against the Nippon Ham Fighters:

...Tae-Gyun Kim continues to pick up big hits in key situations.  In the bottom of the 9th with the base loaded and 2 out, Kim hit a 2-run single off Hisashi Takeda to give the Marines a 6-5 walk-off victory.

On Saturday night, Kim drove in two runs off Takeda in the 9th to tie and push the game into extra innings.

...Tsuyoshi Nishioka hit a ball down the right field line in the 7th that was ruled a home run.  A review of the home run by umps confirmed the first base umps initial call.

This was the first time a home run was reviewed at a Pacific League stadium.

...Sayaka Isoyama caught the ceremonial first pitch on Saturday (wearing a wedding dress / catcher's gear).  Takashi Ogino threw out the pitch.

...The Marines announced that the Chiba National Sports Festival bear will be dropping by Chiba Marine Stadium throughout the season to promote the festival.  His first visit will be on 3/30.
