...From Sunday's game against the Hanshin Tigers:

...Takao Obana shuffled the line-up and had Seiichi Uchikawa batting in the lead-off spot (he batted third during the first two games).  Obana dropped Takehiro Ishikawa to the two hole and inserted Tatsuhiko Kinjo into the three hole.  He also brought up Yuki Yoshimura from the 8 spot to the 6 spot.  End result:

Uchikawa: 1-for-5

Ishikawa: 0-for-5

Kinjo: 2-for-5, 2 R

Yoshimura: 1-for-2, RBI, BB, 2B, SF

...Hitoshi Fujie recorded his first pro victory.

Fujie's final line: 5.1 IP, 20 BF, 80 NP, 3 H, 2 SO, 2 BB, 1 R, 1 ER.

Fujie apparently gave the game ball to Obana.  At one point it seemed as though the ball was returned to him, but another article filed a few hours later mentions Obana throwing the ball into the stands.

...The video replay system was used in the 6th to confirm Jose Castillo's double in the 6th.

...From Saturday's game against the Hanshin Tigers:

...Takao Obana apparently wanted Atsushi Kizuka to pitch around Kenji Johjima the minute the count went to 2-0.  The only problem was that Kizuka wasn't on the same page as Obana.  The next pitch ended up in the seats for a walk-off homer.

...Hayato Terahara needed only 50 pitches to get through 5 shutout innings and surrendered just 2 hits.  Things fell apart for him in the 6th after he dropped a throw to first allowing the first batter of the inning, pinch-hitter Keisuke Kano, to reach.  That led to two run scoring doubles and a sac fly.

Terahara's final line: 6 IP, 24 BF, 66 NP, 5 H, 1 SO, 1 BB, 3 R, 1 ER.
