...Shiori Kutsuna and Sosuke Ikematsu will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch on 4/1 at Jingu Stadium.

...From Sunday's game against the Yomiuri Giants:

...Norichika Aoki had his second straight 3-hit game (3-for-4, BB, 2B, R, 2 RBI).  Between Saturday and Sunday, Aoki went 6-for-9 with 3 runs scored and 4 RBIs.

...Aaron Guiel hit a home run in his second consecutive game.

...Kyohei Muranaka had the kind of start they are hoping they'll see more of this year: 8 IP, 30 BF, 123 NP, 5 H, 11 SO, 2 BB, 2 R, 2 ER.  He topped out at 149km/h.

The 11 strikeouts established a new career high.  It was also Muranaka's first victory against the Giants.

A breakdown on his pitches: 65 of his 123 pitches were fastballs.  Of those 65, 30 were thrown on the inside.  To the middle of the order (3, 4, 5) he threw 18 fastballs, 10 of which were inside.  To Michihiro Ogasawara (batted in the three hole), he threw 7 fastballs, 6 of which were inside.

...The Swallows own the series, 2-1.  It was their first series win at Tokyo Dome since 2004 (8/17-8/19).
