...While not specifically about the Buffaloes: it seems the replay system at Kyocera Dome isn't quite 100% ready for prime-time. It's not missing much, just a digital TV to go with all the other digital equipment being used. Apparently, the monitor being used is a tiny analog set that doesn't have very good resolution. As such, the umps couldn't really get a very good view of Jose Castillo's hit on the 28th.

...From Tuesday's game against the Nippon Ham Fighters:
...The Buffaloes beat the Fighters, 8-4.
...Mamoru Kishida held the Fighters to just one run over the first 6 innings of the game. He almost managed to get out of the 7th without giving up a run, but with runners on first and second with 2 out, he surrendered a 3-run homer to Takayuki Takaguchi.
Kishida's final line: 6.2 IP, 27 BF, 95 NP, 7 H, 5 SO, 1 BB, 4 R, 4 ER.
...Takahiro Okada had a big night, going 3-for-4 with a home run, 2 runs scored, and an RBI.
...Shogo Akada drove in three runs with a bases-clearing double in the 2nd.
...Greg LaRocca and Alex Cabrera went a combined 0-for-7.
...Greg LaRocca got the day off on 29th so that he could be with his expecting wife. A Buffaloes rep told reporters that while LaRocca's wife Amanda still has a bit more to go before she's due, the club wanted to give LaRocca a breather after he struck out 6 times in his last 11 at bats.
...Akinobu Okada was hit in the left hip by a batted ball during BP on Monday. For those curious, Keiji Obiki was the player that hit the ball.
...The Buffaloes will be selling limited edition t-shirts (6 designs, 2,100 yen a shirt, only 500 will be in stock) and tote bags (9 designs, 1,200 yen a bag, 1,000 will be in stock) at both their official shop in Kyocera Dome and at B-Wave in Kobe beginning on 4/2.
...The Buffaloes have posted information about events they will be holding during their three games series against the Chiba Lotte Marines (4/2 - 4/4).
