...From Tuesday's game against the Chiba Lotte Marines:

...The Eagles lost 6-1.

...Satoshi Nagai started the game and gave up 5 runs (3 earned) over 7 innings of work.  He only had one 1-2-3 inning.

Nagai's final line: 7 IP, 31 BF, 123 NP, 9 H, 3 SO, 2 B, 5 R, 3 ER.

...Todd Linden went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts and a walk.

...Satoshi Nagai threw 66 pitches in a bullpen session on Monday.

...Koji Aoyama and Darrell Rasner will likely start the next two games against the Chiba Lotte Marines.  Aoyama tossed 51 pitches in the bullpen on Monday.

...Marty Brown told reporters that the key to pitching to Tae-Gyun Kim was to make sure he didn't get comfortable in the batter's box.

...Juan Morillo will likely step in as the team's closer for the time being.  If that doesn't work out, the Eagles could give Tsuyoshi Kawagishi and Kanehisa Arime a try.

...At least one player was sad to see Kazuo Fukumori get demoted to Ni-gun due to right elbow discomfort: Shinichiro Koyama.  Incidentally, Fukumori has been shut down for a week.

...Fans that purchase tickets in advance to games in April will be treated to a 500 yen discount.
