...It apparently cost about 1.5M yen to upgrade the scoreboard to show balls to strikes.   You can see an image of upgraded area over at Sanspo.

...Daisuke Miura joined the Ichi-gun team for practice on Monday.  He was scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Tuesday.

...It seems Seiichi Uchikawa may have been one of the reasons why the punching bag was installed.

...Reiko Takashima stood in the batter's box for the ceremonial first pitch on Tuesday.  Yokohama mayor Fumiko Hayashi threw out the ceremonial first pitch and Kanagawa prefectural governor Shigefumi Matsuzawa was the catcher.

...The Yokohama Stadium became the first NPB park to convert their scoreboard to show the count balls to strikes on Tuesday.

...Nikkan Sports is carrying a picture of the punching bag (cost: 25,000 yen)that was recently installed in the clubhouse to allow players let off steam.

...The theme to Rocky is making a comeback at Yokohama Stadium.  Seems the team is envisioning a Rocky II type storyline.  The music was previously played at the start of games between 1978 and 2002.
