...Tomoyuki Kubota and Kazuya Tsutsui needed only 14 pitches between them to pitch two inning in relief: Kubota threw 9 pitches in the 7th and Tsutsi needed only 5 pitches in the 8th.

...With his home run, Tomoaki Kanemoto has now hit a home run in 33 different stadiums.

...Yasutomo Kubo hit a 3-run double in the third.  The last time he droove in any runs during a game was back when he still play for Lotte (2-run double vs Yomiuri Giants on 5/26/2005).

...Kenji Johjima apparently struck a kid with a foul ball during pre-game BP on Wednesday.  When he realized what he did, he rushed over to him to apologize.
