Hanshin Tigers sign Jason Standridge to 1-year deal

Looks like it's a one year deal worth about 40M yen.

The Tigers held a press conference announcing the addition of Standridge early on Monday. No details on his contract as of yet. He was assigned the number 55.

Standridge will be arriving in Japan on the 4th. He got his medical exam and will likely sign on the dotted line early next week. After that, Standridge could be ready to pitch by sometime later this month (mid-April).

Nikkan Sports is reporting that the Hanshin Tigers are working on a deal to sign Jason Standridge.
According to the article, the team is in the final stages of negotiations and all that's really left is a medical examination to make sure he's ok. If things continue to proceed smoothly, Standridge could join the Tigers before mid-April.
Standridge did have some success when he played for the Softbank Hawks a couple years back. Here are his numbers:
