...From Sunday's game against the Yokohama Bay Stars:

...The Swallows dropped the rubber game, 2-1.

...Norichika Aoki recorded his 5th multi-hit game of the season.

Final line: 3-for-4 -> fly out to center, double to left, IBB, double to right, single to right.

...The offense collected 9 hits and 7 free passes but could only score 1 run, which can on a home run by Aaron Guiel in the 2nd inning.  They left a total 16 runners on base (there was only one 1-2-3 inning).

5th inning, bases loaded, 2 out - Guiel struck out to end the inning

6th inning, bases loaded, 2 out - Hiroyasu Tanaka struck out to end the inning

7th inning, bases loaded, no out - Shinya Miyamoto popped out to the pitcher and both Atsushi Fujimoto and Ryoji Aikawa struck out.

9th inning, bases loaded, 1 out - Fujimoto popped out to second and Aikawa flied out to right.

...Kyohei Muranaka struggled with his control, walking 5 over 6 innings of work.  It also happened to be a 2-out walk in the 6th that came around to score.  Muranaka did hold the Bay Stars hitless over the first 5 innings of the game (but did allow a runner via walk in three of those five innings).

Final line: 6 IP, 23 BF, 95 NP, 2 H, 6 SO, 5 BB, 2 R, 2 ER.
