Tomokazu Ohka lands in the Bay with a 2-year deal

The Bay Stars held a news conference on Thursday. Ohka signed a 2-year deal worth 100M yen (club option for a third year). He will be wearing the number 44.

It seems Ohka will get a multi-year deal with a guaranteed first year and a club option for the second year on. Early reports also indicate that the contract with be worth 30M yen plus incentives (total upwards of 100M yen) during the first year.

It appears as though Tomokazu Ohka will be returning to the NPB via his former team, the Yokohama Bay Stars. According to Sanspo, the two sides have already come to basic terms and that the final agreement will likely be a multi-year deal. There could be an announcement of a deal as early as Wednesday (4/7).
