...Bum-Ho Lee played in a Ni-gun game against Hanshin on Thursday and was the starting DH and batted fourth.  He also hit his first home run in his fourth at bat in the 7th inning.

...Shota Oba started a Ni-gun game against Hanshin on Wednesday and allowed 4 runs on 3 hits, 2 walks, and struck out 2.

...Koji Akiyama apparently isn't too thrilled about Yuta Omine's delivery, claiming that it hinges on being a three-step motion.  He even took it upon himself to talk to the umpiring crew both before the game and after the first inning on Wednesday.

...Jose Ortiz recorded his 100th career NPB home run on Thursday.

...The Hawks announced that they have been accepting pre-orders for a special Casio G-Shock Hawks watch.  The watches goes for 15,750 yen with a limited supply of 300.

...The Hawks will be giving away 500 pairs of free tickets every month and will begin accepting entries on 4/9 through their mobile site (winners will get tickets to games in May).  They'll also be giving away an additional 100 pairs of tickets each month to those that failed to win tickets.  In a nutshell, I think it basically means they're giving away a total 600 pairs of tickets.

The Hawks will also be giving away a free Hawks' bandanna at select Softbank mobile phone stores in the Fukuoka area beginning on the 4/9.
