Games from the 11th:

Mariners 9 - Rangers 2
Ichiro Suzuki started in right and batted first.  He went 1-for-4: single to center, fly out to center, ground out to the pitcher.

Athletics 9 - Angels 4
Hideki Matsui was the starting DH and batted fourth.  He went 0-for-3: fly out to center, ground out to first, walk, ground out to the pitcher.

Matsui might have a chance to play defense for the second time this year during an upcoming 3-game series against the Yankees.  With the team playing the Blue Jays after that (at Toronto on the artificial turf), it seems the Yankees' series will be the best time for him to get some fielding work in.

Giants 6 - Braves 3
Kenshin Kawakami started and went 6 innings while giving up 3 runs (2 earned) on 5 hits and a walk.  He also struck out 1.

Phillies 2 - Astros 1
Kazuo Matsui started at second and batted 7th.  He went 0-for-2: strikeout, ground out to third, sac hit.

Diamondbacks 15 - Pirates 6
Akinori Iwamura started at second and batted first.  He went 0-for-2: walk, fly out to center, ground out to short.  He was replaced for a pinch-hitter in the 6th.

Nationals 5 - Mets 2
Ryota Igarashi entered the game in the 8th and tossed a scoreless inning.  He did not allow any hits but did walk one.

It seems the benches cleared at one point and Hisanori Takahashi was a little late in getting out of the bullpen.  He jokingly told reporters that he was late in getting out because he wasn't sure if he should wear his cap.

Reds 3 - Cubs 1
Kosuke Fukudome started in right and batted second.  He went 3-for-4: double to center, single to left, sac hit, ground out to first, single to center.
