Notes

Hiroshima has won two in a row, winning both games in the bottom of the 9th. ... Araki (CHU) and Ibata (CHU) batted 1, 2 for the first time this season.  They also swapped positions before the start of the bottom of the 2nd.  The change was apparently made after Araki allowed Suenaga's (HIR) grounder to become an infield single in the 1st. ... Takahashi (HIR) became the first pitcher over the age of 40 to win games on consecutive days.  Two other pitchers, Tadashi Wakabayashi and Satoru Komiyama have recorded consecutive wins after turning 40,but not on consecutive days.  Wakabayashi recorded wins on 10/28 and 2/30/1948 while Komiya recorded his two wins on 4/21 and 4/24/2007. ... It was the first time since 1985 that the Dragons have lost two games on walk-offs.
