...14-9-0 (2nd place): The Lions started their week with four consecutive wins by sweeping the Rakuten Eagles and taking the first game of a three game set against the Nippon Ham Fighters. While they lost the second game against the Fighters, they did finish out the series with another victory on Sunday. Brian Sikorski picked up 3 saves during the week.
...Takeya Nakamura woke up this past week. After hitting just one home run over his first 17 games of the season, he banged out four this past week. He also had 8 RBI and 6 runs scored. Yasuyuki Kataoka went 9-for-25 (.360) with 6 runs scored.
...Hiroyuki Nakajima worked with the Lions to bring a special desert (it appears to be pudding topped with fruits) to fans. They will be on sale for only three games (5/3, 4, 5) and at a cost of 1,000 yen. The desert will also come with a mug and will be limited to a quantity of 333 per day.
...In conjunction with Goods on Demand, the Lions will be accepting orders for individually customized photo books between 4/26 and 6/28.
...The Lions are adding Seibu Lions themed Crocs (adults and kids) and a few kinds of pin badges to their online store. The two new items will be available beginning on Tuesday.
