...It seems there's a good chance Eric Stults will get a start against the Yomiuri Giants during an upcoming 3-game series that begins on Friday.

...Three players of note played in a Ni-gun game against Softbank on Wednesday:

...Keisuke Imai started the game and gave up 1 run on 4 hits over 5 innings of work and threw a total 83 pitches.  Final line: 5 IP, 23 BF, 4 H, 4 BB, 0 HBP, 5 SO, 1 ER.

...Takeru Imamura tossed two shutout innings in relief and picked up his first win of the season.  He also topped out at 145km/h.  Final line: 2 IP, 9 BF, 2 H, 2 BB, 0 HBP, 3 SO, 0 ER.

Pitching / head coach Yutaka Ono told reporters the next step for Imamura will be increasing his workload and letting him start games.

...Soichiro Amaya played in a game for the first time since being taken off the active roster on the 11th with a dislocated left shoulder.  He entered in the 5th as a pinch-hitter and went 0-for-2.  Amaya told reporters after the game that he was feeling much better.
