...When Kazumi Saito was asked by reporters about when he might be ready to return to Ichi-gun, Saito said that he didn't know.  He also told reporters that he has come a long way during one month of rehab.

...Nobuhiko Matsunaka was taken off the active roster today due to his prolonged slump.  Matsunaka has just two hits over his last 25 trips to the plate.  He's also hitting just .197 on the year (12-for-61).

...Hiroshi Shibahara hit a home run last night, his first since 7/6/2008 (vs Chiba Lotte Marines).

...Nobuhiro Matsuda had his first 2-homer game in his 5-year pro career last night.

...Hiroki Kokubo's grand slam on Wednesday night was off his 8th team, which ties the high on the All-time list.  Kokubo is also just two away from tying Sadaharu Oh's record of 15 career grand slams.

...The Hawks have posted more details about their 5th annual High School Girls Day on 5/9 (vs Seibu Lions).
