Softbank Hawks sign J.D. Durbin to a one year deal

The Hawks held a press conference for Durbin today at Yahoo Dome. Seems he throws a fastball, curve, slider and change.
Durbin was assigned the number 53.

The Hawks announced on Sunday that they signed J.D. Durbin to a one year deal worth 20M yen.
Said Itaru Kobayashi, head of the development department, "He has good movement on his fastball and his off-speed pitches have a nice break. If we have a strong back-up plan in place, we won't have any worries."
As for Michael Olmsted, it seems the team is trying to sign him to an Ikusei contract.
