Nippon Ham Fighters acquire Kenji Sato from Chiba Lotte Marines

The Fighters held a press conference for Sato on Wednesday. Seems they like that he's still young, has some pop, and has a strong throwing shoulder. They are ultimately looking at Sato to compete for a starting position in the outfield.

The Nippon Ham Fighters announced on Tuesday that they acquired 21-year-old outfielder Kenji Sato from the Chiba Lotte Marines for nothing.
Sato has yet to play any games in Ichi-gun.
