...23-15-0 (T-2nd place):  The Lions had a good start to their 9 game campaign, taking two of three for the Chiba Lotte Marines and temporarily moving into first place for one day (on the 28th).  Things went into a bit of a spiral after that as the Nippon Ham Fighters won the next series, 2-1.  But the Lions bounced back nicely, taking two of three from the Eagles to close out campaign.  While their 5-4 run wasn't great, it was good enough to keep them in second.

...Hideaki Wakui is slated to start tomorrow's game (5/7) against the Softbank Hawks.  Wakui told reporters that he'll approach the Hawks' line-up as if they were the Yomiuri Giants.

...Ishii is 4-0 at the Seibu Dome this year.

...After the game on Wednesday, Takumi Kuriyama asked adult fans not to go after balls that were thrown into the stands by players because they are often meant for kids -- kids can't compete with adults and could also get seriously injured.  He added that the adult fans should instead go after foul balls.

...The Lions will be taking part in the Tokotoko Tower Matsuri (とことこタワーまつり) on the 9th.
