Things aren't looking good for the Nagasaki Saints of the Island League. The teams is having financial problems that could lead to bankruptcy.
"Forget a temporary break from action, there's a possibility we'll need to declare bankruptcy," said team owner Tetsuro Jitozono.
The club has struggled to find sponsors this season, causing them to go over 100M yen into the red.
The Saints should know more about whether they'll be able to keep the club going before the end of this month. Assuming they can, there's still no guarantee that they'll be able to finish out the entire season.
Nagasaki is the lone team in the league from the Kyushu region.
