Katsuya Nomura spoke with Sanspo and mentioned a few things about his current status.

I'm sorry to have caused everyone to worry.  I feel as if I've gotten better, but I decided to stay in the hospital for a little while so that I can get the proper rest. ... My tonsils are a bit swollen.  I think I may have over-worked myself a bit.  I'll stay in the hospital to rest and relax and watch some TV.  I told Kakaa (Sachio) not to schedule me for so much (a lot of) work. ... I had a number speeches / lectures lined up.  To the people that were looking forward to them, to the organizers, I offer my apologies.

I guess that settles it.
