Rays 3 - Mariners 2
Ichiro Suzuki started in right and batted first.  He went 2-for-4: strikeout swinging, single to center, line out to second, single to right.  It was his 7th consecutive multi-hit game.  This is the 5th time in his career that he has gone 7 consecutive games with multiple hits.  7 also matches his career high.

Angels 12 - Athletics 3
Hideki Matsui
was the starting DH and batted sixth.  he went 1-for-3: strikeout swinging, strikeout swinging, hit by pitch, double to left.
