...Yuki Karakawa was re-examined on Sunday and was diagnosed with fractured right middle finger.  He was originally informed that he had contusions on his middle and ringer fingers during an evaluation on Thursday.  Karakawa went in for an additional examination today since swelling in the fingers did not subside.  He is expected to miss about 4 weeks.

...Yoshihisa Naruse gave up three home runs to the Yomiuri Giants on Saturday.  That gives him 16 on the year in 9 games.  And that's tops in both leagues...  by quite a bit.  The high in the Central League is 9 while the high in the Pacific League is 7.  He also broke his previous career high of 14 (set last year).

...Yuki Karakawa was taken off the active roster on Saturday since he probably wasn't going to be able to make his start on the 19th.  At this point, the club doesn't seem to know when he might be able to return and is open to the possibility that it might take more than 10 days.

In other news, it seems Shingo Ono is getting closer to a return.
