...Alex Ramirez knocked out his 300th career homer on Saturday.  That makes him the 3rd foreigner (behind Tuffy Rhodes with 464 and Alex Cabrera with 331) and 36th player overall to reach the milestone.  Ramirez also hit his 300th home run in his 1,309th game, making him the 15th quickest to the milestone.  It seems he's also hitting homers out at a quicker pace: he hit 100 in 464 games, 101 - 200 in 476 games, and 201 - 300 in 369 games.  Probably has something to do with playing close to half his games at Tokyo Dome.

...Shun Tono tossed a career high 145 pitches on Saturday.  He also recorded: his second consecutive complete game shutout; a career high 12 strikeouts; and his 7th consecutive victory for the first time in his career.  Tono's consecutive scoreless inning streak ended at 27.

...Yoshiyuki Kamei started in right and batted fifth in a Ni-gun game on Saturday.  He went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and also threw out a runner at home in the first.

...Hayato Sakamoto helped hand out 100 of his Red Cross Charity t-shirts to fans that purchased them earlier today.
