...Naoto Tsuru's next outing will likely be as a starter on the 21st against the Orix Buffaloes (at Kyocera Dome).

...Seems Jason Standridge may have pitched himself out of the rotation on Sunday when he gave up 5 runs (4 earned) on 5 hits over 4 innings of work against the Rakuten Eagles.  At this point, it seems Standridge will either be sent down to Ni-gun or given another shot to pitch out of the pen.

...Sanspo notes that Craig Brazell is currently on pace to hit 52 home runs this season.  That would be two short of the franchise high (54) set by Randy Bass in 1985.

...Takahashi Toritani went 1-for-4 on Sunday and extended his hitting streak to 9 games.

...Tsuyoshi Shimoyanagi could be returning to the active roster for a start on the 24th.  Keiji Uezono to the rotation on either the 18th or 19th.  It appears they don't have anyone to pitch on the 23rd -- potential candidates include Yuya Ando (dependent on how he does during a Ni-gun start on the 18th) and Naohisa Sugiyama.

...Seems Kyuji Fujikawa had a fever before Sunday's game and was allowed to return home, but not before he went through the regular practice schedule before the game.
