It seems the KBO commissioner is on board for a Japan - Korea Championship Series after the season.  The only thing holding back an agreement at this point appears to be the timing.  The NPB is pushing for some time in mid-November, but the KBO commissioner is worried about the weather in Korea and is suggesting that the game(s) take place in Japan.

The KBO is in the process of building a new stadium in Korea and the KBO commissioner is currently in Japan checking out Mazda Stadium for ideas / inspiration.
