...Michihiro Ogasawara was held out of the starting line-up tonight and was not available to play in the game.  He was given the day off after he was hit by a pitch on the right hand and diagnosed with a contusion.

...Michihiro Ogasawara was hit by a pitch on the right hand last night and was immediately taken to a hospital.  After being diagnosed with a contusion on his right hand, Ogasawara returned to the stadium for treatment.  He's listed as day-to-day.

...Prior to last night's game, the Giants had won 20 straight games when Alex Ramirez hit a home run.

...Tetsuya Matsumoto likely won't be added to the active roster until some time in June.

...The media found out today that Ni-gun battery coach Katsunori Nomura was involved in a minor car accident (fender bender with a small truck) on the 15th.  No one was injured.  Seems Nomura didn't pay enough attention to what was going on behind him while backing up.
