...Ginjiro held his rehab workouts (light running, a game of catch) at Seibu II Stadium today.  Ginjiro had surgery on his left knee back in March and this was his first workout at Seibu II Stadium.

...Hideaki Wakui started his second game at Koshien Stadium last night since turning pro (his first game came on 5/28/2009).  Wakui also picked up his 15th Inter-league victory of his career, put him back into a first place tie on the All-Time with Tsuyoshi Wada.

Incidentally, of the 137 pitches Wakui threw last night, 39 were sliders.  His sliders were also hitting 136-137km/h on the radar gun (he's usually throws the slider in the low to mid 130s).

Wakui is now 4-0 against the Tigers during Inter-league play.

...The Lions are releasing a book that includes information of their team over the last 60 years (including the Nishitetsu, Taiheiyo Club, and Crown Lighters years).  The book will hit stores shelves on 5/29 for 1,200 yen.

...Looks like tickets to a two game series against the Yomiuri Giants this weekend at Seibu Dome are going pretty quickly.  Interested fans should get moving before they run out completely.

...The Lions announced the start of Haier Lucky Chance Tuesdays (Haierラッキー☆チャンス) for five upcoming home games: 6/1 vs Yokohama, 7/13 vs Nippon Ham, 7/27 vs Lotte, 8/17 vs Softbank, 9/7 vs Nippon Ham.  One lucky fan have a chance to go home with a Haier appliance.
