...Kan Otake will likely start tomorrow's game against the Nippon Ham Fighters.

...The Carp finished out the month of May 8-14 (4-5 at home and 4-8 on the road).

...Dioni Soriano retired the side in order during his relief appearance yesterday.  He also topped out at a career high 150km/h.  Soriano is now set to start a game on 6/5 against the Softbank Hawks at Mazda Stadium.

...Tomonori Maeda was hit by a pitch on the right elbow by Masahiro Tanaka in the fourth inning yesterday.  Maeda was later taken out of the game in the 5th on offense.  He is currently listed as day-to-day.
