...Yuichi Honda stole a base Tuesday night and two bases last night. That gives him 27 on the year, tops in either league.
...Tadashi Settsu appeared in his 100th career game last night. That's out of a possible 201 team games. Settsu also leads both leagues in appearances with 30. If he keeps it up and hits 70 for the year, he could become the first pitcher since Kazuhisa Isao to record 70 appearances in two consecutive seasons (1958-1959).
...Masahiko Morifuku will likely be sent down to Ni-gun tomorrow to make room for Hideaki Takahashi. Takahashi could get tomorrow's start against the Hiroshima Carp at Mazda Stadium.
...The Hawks promoted Tomoaki Egawa yesterday. His Ni-gun numbers so far this year:
