Ten consecutive hits, ten consecutive at bats, in one inning… times two.

by on Jun.08, 2010 @ 10:17 am, under NPB

Both the Orix Buffaloes and the Chiba Lotte Marines recorded 10 hits in 10 consecutive at bats in one inning last night. That establishes a new NPB high -- the Swallows set a record of 11 hits last season, but there was actually a walk sandwiched in between the 9th and 10th hits.
