...The Tigers suffered their third walk-off loss of the season last night.

...Wei-Chu Lin was in the starting line-up for the first time since 9/17/2009.

...Kazuhito Futagami is scheduled to start an Ikusei game on the 13th and go at least 3 innings.  It will be his first start (second outing) since returning from an injury to his left flank.

...Minoru Iwata took grounders yesterday at Naruohama for the first time since undergoing surgery on his left elbow.  Iwata also went to the hospital in the afternoon for a regular check-up and rehab training (he did some shadow pitching).  Assuming everything goes smoothly, Iwata could begin throwing again this month.

...The Tigers are giving Akihiro Yano two days off, beginning on the 9th.  Yano will return to Naruohama for rehab tomorrrow.
