...Munenori Kawasaki will be donating 1M yen to foot-and-mouth disease relief efforts in Miyazaki.

...Toshiya Sugiuchi showed his support for the Japan Marrow Donor Program by printing 6,000 copies of a poster (out of his own pocket) asking for fans to donate bone marrow.  The posters will be sent to various medical organizations throughout Japan.

...It's still early, but Roberto Petagine is doing well so far.  Through 10 games: 13-for-37 (.351), 1 HR, 8 R, 6 RBI, .415 / .432 / .847.

...It seems the Hawks are opening up the seats out in center because they accidentally oversold on tickets to the two-game series against the Yomiuri Giants.  Wonder what kind of effect, if any, it will have on batters.

...The Hawks have posted an interview with Hiroki Yamada at their website.

...Seats to watch games from within the Sadaharu Oh Baseball Museum inside Yahoo Dome are set to go on sale.  There about about 350 seats in all.  The Hawks are also selling game tickets packaged with tickets to the the museum at a discount.

...The Hawks are selling tickets to 5 games between 7/28 and 8/12 that come packaged together with with Softbank Hawks branded neck coolers.

...The Hawks announce that Naoto Inti Raymi's Wa Wa Wa song will be used as the Asahi Super Hard Special 2010 (アサヒスーパードライスペシャル2010) theme song for games on 7/10 and 7/11.
