Games from the 11th:

Angels 10 - Dodgers 1
Hideki Matsui started in left and batted fifth.  He went 1-for-4: ground out to first, ground out to second, 3-run double to right, ground out to first.  Matsui came out of the game in the 6th on defense.  This was also the 8th game of the season that Matsui played out in left.

Padres 4 - Mariners 3
Ichiro Suzuki started in right and batted first.  He went 1-for-5: single to center, strikeout looking, RBI ground out to second, strikeout swinging.

Tigers 6 - Pirates 2
Akinori Iwamura started at second and batted seventh.  He went 0-for-2: walk, fly out to left, fly out to right, walk.

White Sox 10 - Cubs 5
Kosuke Fukudome started in right and batted first.  He went 0-for-4: error on ground out to second, ground out to second, strikeout swinging, fly out to left, walk.

Kazuo Matsui started at second and batted second in a triple-A game against the Las Vegas 51s on the 11th.

Hisanori Takahashi's next start will be on the 12th against the Baltimore Orioles.  Takahashi has been studying video of the Orioles in preparation for his start.  Seems he's also disappointed that he won't have a chance to pitch against his former teammate, Koji Uehara.

Hiroki Kuroda donated $50,000 (about 4.5M yen) to the Dodgers' cancer fund on the 11th.  Kuroda has been donating money to the fund since 2008 (for a total of about $250,000).  Both Kuroda's parents died from cancer.  Said Kuroda, "As long as I'm able to play, I'd like to continue to repay my parents for what they did for me."

Seems Bobby Valentine spoke with Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos and general manager Andy MacPhail on Friday.
