...Jose Ortiz was taken out of the game after he was hit by a pitch on the left wrist in the 5th inning.  It doesn't appear to be serious as he is currently not expected to require a visit to the hospital.

...Tsuyoshi Wada will likely get tonight's start against the Yomiuri Giants.  He'll be going for his 9th win of the season; his 5th Inter-league win of the year; and his 18th Inter-league win of his career.  Toshiya Sugiuchi is expected to start tomorrow's game.

...Roberto Petagine is looking forward to playing against his former team, the Yomiuri Giants.  Said Petagine, "The two years with the Giants were great, but I'm with the 2010 Hawks now.  I'll do my best for the Hawks."

...For the first time in his 17-year pro career, Hiroki Kokubo will be including stretching exercises from his home to his rehab training schedule.  Up to now, Kokubo has never brought "work home," but in order to maximize his time, it seems a change had to be.

...The Sadaharu Oh Museum at Yahoo Dome was opened to the public (likely just the media) for the first time on the 11th (actual grand opening is on 7/3).  To commemorate the museum, Sadaharu Oh stamps will also go on sale.

...It apparently cost Sugiuchi 3M yen to print out his 6,000 bone marrow donation posters.
