...The Tigers worked out at the Jingu indoor training facilities in the evening today (the traveled in from Yonago earlier in the day).  Yasutomo Kubo will likely get tomorrow's start against the Yakult Swallows.

...Matt Murton went 4-for-5 last night with 4 RBI.  That gives him 15 RBI so far for the month of June (in 14 games).  That's more than the 14 he recorded in May (22 games) and the 11 he pushed across he plate in March / April (27 games).  Of course, he also hitting out of the 3-hole right now (ever since 5/24).

...Craig Brazell may not have been able to extend his home run streak to 6 consecutive games last night, but he did got 2-for-5 with 2 RBI.

...Atsushi Nomi spent about 10 minutes lightly throwing off a mound at Naruohama yesterday.  Nomi started playing catch on the 20th and moved on to the mound yesterday.  He also has a protective insole in his shoe in order to keep unnecessary strain off his strain off his right foot (fracture in his right cuneiform bone).
