Seibu Lions sign Jose Fernandez

The Lions held a press conference for Fernandez today. He was also assigned the number 52. Fernandez will now report to Ni-gun for some work. The club is hoping that he'll be ready to join the Ichi-gun roster some time in mid-July.

The contract is apparently worth 30M yen and takes him through to the end of the season. The Lions are scheduled to hold a press conference for Fernandez later in the day.

The Seibu Lions announced today that they signed Jose Fernandez to a contract. Will add more details as they become available.
