The JFBL held their first game since news of the gambling scandal broke a few days earlier.  And despite being down 8 men, the Osaka Gold Villicanes beat the Mie Three Arrows 3-1.  Incidentally, the league is reporting 435 fans in attendance for the game.  In looking through box scores for the current month, this figure doesn't seem to be too far off from the norm: the low for the month so far is 135 with a high of 745.

In other JFBL Osaka news:

Osaka published the names of either players they recently canceled contracts with (as of 6/21).  They are as follows:

Yosuke Hiramatsu

Shosuke Murakami

Katsunari Tanaka

Haruki Wakabayashi

Kazuki Uemori

Tadashi Yamashita

Takayoshi Tatsumino

Osaka also announced that they lost Jintan was no longer a sponsor.  Osaka is making the rounds with all its sponsors to apologize and offer explanations.
