JFBL: Eight former Osaka players placed bets in May

Investigations into the eight former Osaka Gold Villicanes players has revealed that they placed bets on a number of games between a 1-2 week period in May, with each player spending tens of thousands of yen each.
It seems that most of the former players also thought it best to stop once sumo wrestlers started getting caught.
