...The Fighters topped the 1M mark in attendance last night.  That's over 38 home games (the same pace as last season).

...Atsunori Inaba became the 28th player in NPB history to record 350 doubles tonight.  Inaba's 350th double came in the 1st inning off Toshiya Sugiuchi.

...Toshiyuki Yanuki will likely start tonight's game against the Softbank Hawks.

...The Fighters were hoping to have Hirotoshi Masui (neuritis in right shoulder) back before the All-Star break, but it seems like he won't hit that target anymore and will end up returning some time in early August.  The Fighters are taking things slow with Masui and at this point, he's only to play a light game of catch.

...Sho Nakata could be playing in his first Ni-gun game on the 13th (vs Seibu).  It will be his first game since going under the knife (left knee) back on 5/10.
