Games from the 6th:

Royals 3 - Mariners 2
Ichiro Suzuki started in right and batted first. He went 1-for-4: foul out to third, ground out to short, strikeout swinging, single to right.

White Sox 4 - Angels 1
Hideki Matsui was the starting DH and batted fifth.  He went 0-for-3: fly out to right, walks, GIDP, fly out to short.

Rays 3 - Red Sox 2
Hideki Okajima entered the game in the 8th, with the Red Sox down 2-1, and surrendered a run (solo homer) over .2 innings of work.  Final line: .2 IP, 5 BF, 2 H, 0 SO, 1 BB, 1 R, 1 ER.

Cubs 6 - Diamondback 4
Kosuke Fukudome started in right and batted first.  He went 1-for-5: strikeout looking, strikeout swinging, homer to right-center, strikeout swinging, ground out to short.  This was the second time this season that Fukudome has hit homers in back-to-back games.

Braves 6 - Orioles 3
Takashi Saito entered the game in the 8th, with the score tied at 3, and tossed a shutout inning in relief.  He was not involved in the final decision.  Final line: 1 IP, 3 BF, 0 H, 0 SO, 0 BB, 0 R, 0 ER.


Akinori Iwamura went 1-for-3 with a homer, a runs scored, an RBI, and a walk against the triple-A Louisville Bats on the 6th.  Iwamura started at third and batted second; he was replaced by a pinch-hitter in the 8th.


Kazuo Matsui went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts against the triple-A Fresno Grizzlies on the 6th.  Matsui started at second and batted first.
