...Yu Darvish continued his dominance over the Orix Buffaloes this afternoon with a 13-strikeout complete game victory. He also: extended his winning streak against the Buffaloes to 9 games (since 2007); recorded his first complete game victory without a walk since 2008; and struck out a batter in every inning for the second time in his career (the first came in 2006).

...The last time Masao Kida won three games without a loss, from the start of the season, was back when he played for the Yomiuri Giants in 1990. He was sent back to Ni-gun today.
