Japan dropped their game to the Netherlands on the 11th, 5-0.

Yoshito Uramoto started the game and tossed 6 shutout innings while striking out 5. Yudai Ono tossed 2 innings in relief and allowed 3 runs (all earned) and suffered his second loss of the tournament.  Masayuki Hara was responsible for the other two runs (one earned) with .1 innings of work and Koji Hirose rounded things out with .2 shutout innings.

The loss puts Japan in a third place tie with the US behind Cuba (2-0) and the Netherlands (2-0).  Chinese Taipei is in last place with an 0-2 record.

Cuba is set to take on Chinese Taipei and the US will take on the Netherlands on the 12th.
