...Terrmel Sledge was held out of the starting line-up last night due to tightness in both thighs. The trainer apparently caught the problem during a regularly scheduled morning check-up and suggested he stay out of the starting line-up in order to avoid a serious injury (he was cleared for a pinch-hit at bat if needed).
...Brett Harper can add another "fun" thing to his NPB resume: stopping the Dragons' consecutive scoreless innings streak at 50 with a 2-run homer off Kazuki Yoshimi in the fourth inning.
