It’s official: Hiroshima signs Vinnie Chulk

The Swallows held a press conference for Chulk yesterday at Mazda Stadium.

The Carp announced today that they signed 31-year-old right-handed pitcher Vinnie Chulk to a one-year deal with 22.5M yen (plus incentives). He was also assigned the number 42.
Hiroshima is hoping Chulk will be able to step in as their closer.
