Lions officially dismiss Hiromoto Okubo

The Lions held a press conference earlier today to announce that their internal investigations revealed that Ni-gun batting coach Hiromoto Okubo resorted to violence in his coaching methods and that they were officially dismissing him from the team for that reason.

Wasn’t he in trouble over sexual harrasment a few years ago as well?

Yep. He was under investigation back in November 2008 for hitting a woman. He was then suspended from his duties with the club for a year and returned at the beginning of the current season.
The Lions are probably thinking that they should never have allowed him to return.
